HYROX
HYROX combines functional strength, endurance, and high-intensity training, creating a challenging and effective workout. It consists of running and key exercises such as sled pushes, rowing, burpees, kettlebell carries, wall balls, and lunges. In addition to the classic HYROX movements, complementary strength and endurance exercises are incorporated to enhance performance, build power, and refine technique. Suitable for all fitness levels, each participant can push their individual limits. This workout improves cardiovascular fitness, strength, and resilience, making it an ideal full-body challenge.
FUNCTIONAL TRAINING
Functional training focuses on compound movements that engage multiple muscle groups simultaneously. Unlike isolated exercises, this workout integrates free weights, kettlebells, bodyweight movements, and resistance bands, challenging strength, coordination, core stability, and flexibility. These exercises also contribute to overall fitness, enhancing both strength and endurance while improving body control, stability, and mobility. Suitable for all fitness levels, participants can adjust intensity to strengthen and develop a well-rounded, functional fitness foundation.
CEDRIC BRUNNER
Former professional footballer with over 10 years at the top level – including FC Zürich, Bundesliga clubs Arminia Bielefeld and FC Schalke 04. Now part of The Box team, I bring dedication, discipline and a deep passion for fitness. Sport has always been a core part of my life – now I’m focused on passing that experience on and supporting others in their training.
ALEXANDRE NIELSEN
Since childhood, I have been passionate about sports. My journey began with football at the GC Zürich Academy and continued through FC Seefeld and FC Küsnacht. Later, I discovered endurance sports – running and cycling – and combined them with strength training to build stability and power. My goal has always been to be athletic, which for me means being both strong and enduring. That’s when HYROX came into play—a sport where I can combine all these components. In 2024, I competed in my first HYROX race in Marseille, fully embracing this holistic approach to fitness. Through this passion, I have found great joy in sharing my enthusiasm for sports with others, helping them discover their own potential and motivating them to lead a strong, healthy, and sustainable lifestyle.
